Level: Beginner and up. Some prior belly dance experience required (Must be a current student - beginners welcome! - OR have taken a session in the past).
Learn to dance with a veil!
The Belly Dancer's veil is more than just a classic fun & flowy prop - it's an extension of the dancer that opens the door to uniquely expressive & sensual movements.
This workshop blends the element of wind, the veil, with graceful and earthy dance movements, basic turn technique & core stabilization work.
We will cover the basics for those new to veil, as well as delve into new deeper and more intricate work for more advanced & returning dancers.
Please bring a 3-4 yard veil (if you have one) - or any flowy chiffon or silk fabric (typically 3 yards long is standard, approx. 45" width fabric). A limited amount will be available to borrow.
Workshop fee is Non-Refundable (however, it can be transferred to another individual with prior notice). Please understand your registration is reserving your spot that could've gone to someone else.
